Un any més, ja en fa 11, es celebrarà, durant tot el mes de Maig, les [Jornades Gastronòmiques a Lloret](http://www.lloretdemar.org/info/event-agenda.jsp?elem=2010&telem=4), aquest cop, però, amb moltes novetats. Fins ara el municipi organitzava dues [jornades gastronòmiques a l’any](http://www.lloretdemar.org/info/event-agenda.jsp?elem=2010&telem=4), la de l’arròs (abril) i la de la [tirada de l’art](https://blog.lloretdemar.org/cat/2011/01/tirada-a-lart-gairebe-30-anys-de-tradicio-tota-una-forma-de-vida/?hsLang=ca-es)(octubre). Enguany s’han unificat les dues jornades per crear les[jornades gastronòmiques de l’arròs de l’art](http://www.lloretdemar.org/info/event-agenda.jsp?elem=2010&telem=4). El motiu d’aquesta fusió és tornar als inicis d’aquesta tradició. Un cop acabada la [tirada a l’art](https://blog.lloretdemar.org/cat/2011/01/tirada-a-lart-gairebe-30-anys-de-tradicio-tota-una-forma-de-vida/?hsLang=ca-es), amb el peix recollit, els pescadors es reunien i feien l’arròs de l’art a la platja. [Els restaurants i hotels participants en les jornades](http://dynamicfiles.europeinyourlife.com/files/9064-109-archivo/Jornadas-Gastronomicas-Arroz-Lloret-2011.pdf)recuperaran la recepta original de l’Arròs de l’art per poder-ne gaudir com en els seus inicis. L’únic arròs que es podrà tastar durant aquest dies serà aquest, el de l’arròs de l’art.
