# Aplec dels Perdons

Como villa costera, [**Lloret de Mar**](http://lloretdemar.org/es/) tiene mucha parte de su historia y leyendas ligadas al mar. **Una de las más queridas por los lloretenses es un baile de origen muy antiguo, conocido como [Danza de *les Almorratxes*](http://lloretdemar.org/es/que-hacer/eventos/393-fiesta-mayor-de-lloret-es)**, donde cuatro jóvenes doncellas, escogidas para cuidar la [**ermita de Santa Cristina**](http://lloretdemar.org/es/que-visitar/ermitas-e-iglesias/337-ermita-de-santa-cristina), realizan esta danza ceremonial en recuerdo de una leyenda que explica que, en la época en que los piratas bereberes hacían estragos en la costa catalana, una chica cristiana de Lloret rechazó a su pretendiente musulmán, lanzando contra el suelo un vaso de vidrio con aceites perfumados, conocido como ***almorratxa***, que éste le había regalado. Ahora, más de 500 años más tarde, todavía se realiza este baile cada 24 de julio con motivo de las [**fiestas de la patrona de Lloret**](http://lloretdemar.org/es/que-hacer/eventos/393-fiesta-mayor-de-lloret-es), Santa Cristina.

Es un día festivo en el que se dan a conocer las cuatro chicas, llamadas *Obreres*, que bailarán la **Danza de *les Almorratxes***. El encuentro comienza con una caminata popular desdela Plaza dela Villa hasta la ermita de Santa Cristina, y termina con unas sardanas y una paella popular. Un último apunte. Si no habéis estado, **aprovechad para entrar en la ermita de Santa Cristina, de gran tradición marinera.** Esta pequeña iglesia tiene detrás una gran historia. El altar mayor, fabricado en Italia y hecho de un mármol de varios colores, está rodeado de diferentes embarcaciones en miniatura, exvotos de marineros retornados de temporales de mar y otras promesas.
