# Visita guiada al Cementerio Modernista

[![](https://blog.lloretdemar.org/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/DSC_0641.jpg?width=902&height=400&name=DSC_0641.jpg "Cementerio modernista")](https://blog.lloretdemar.org/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/DSC_0641.jpg?hsLang=es)El próximo 4 y 5 de junio, a las 18h, [**Lloret de Mar**](http://www.lloretdemar.org/info/?lang=2) se une a la **Semana Europea de los Cementerios** y organiza visitas guiadas al **[Cementerio Modernista](http://www.lloretdemar.org/info/redirectorPagina.jsp?telem=1&elem=276&lang=2)** del municipio.

**El Cementerio Modernista es una muestra de la época de los indianos** y de un momento en que creaban panteones que reflejaban su poder económico en vida.

Este fin de semana es una buena oportunidad para introducirse en el arte funerario del s.XX con obras creadas por arquitectos y escultores de renombre como **Josep Puig i Cadafalch, Antoni M. Gallissà i Soqué, Lluís Llimona, Vicenç Artigas i Albertí, Bonaventura Conill i Montobbio, Ismael Smith, Eusebi Arnau, entre otros.**

**“Aquí no encontrareis muertos, sino personas descansando hasta el día del juicio final”**: con estas palabras el guía introduce a los visitantes en una visita que recorre magníficos panteones y explica detalles interesantes de la simbología funeraria. ¿Sabias, por ejemplo, que la hiedra es símbolo de inmortalidad?

¡No dejéis pasar esta oportunidad! Aunque aún hay gente reticente a visitar estos espacios, poco a poco se valora cada vez más su atractivo turístico y cada día son más los visitantes que se acercan.
